Abstract

This publication presents an overview of human development in Agam Regency. Human development becomes a very important thing in a sustainable manner. Because by building humans (actors as well as objects of development) means providing opportunities for humans to further expand their choices. In this case, the background for the birth of the Human Development Indicator (HDI) as a description of the development performance of a region. Because HDI is a combination of three basic dimension approaches, namely a long and healthy life, education and a decent living.
